Travelling by road, rail, ferry and air, 2019 has been another record breaking year here at  As Creatives. And since last January, we’ve taken our creative maths, science, literacy, history and CPD programmes to schools in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Isles, Italy and Poland - working directly with more than 90,000 children and young people in primary, secondary and special schools!

Season's Greetings from As Creatives

2020 looks set to be even more exciting, with the launch of not just new whole-school maths and science primary school programmes (The Benefactor and Seven Wonders of the World), but an innovative new secondary maths workshop, too (The Priorities Game). We’re looking forward to further developing our partnerships with a host of other organisations and initiatives, including both the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Higher Horizons - and to paying our first visits to Oman and Qatar (with a third trip to Malaysia also in the pipeline).

After all that, we’re ready for a bit of relaxation now - as, we suspect, are you! So we’d like to wish you all a Very Happy Christmas - and, of course, a wonderful New Year. And, in the festive spirit, we’re giving away, not one, but two free resources with this month’s newsletter - The Twelve Days of Mathsmas and Six Facts: A Victorian Christmas!

Free Resource: The Twelve Days of Mathsmas

Twelve Sums of Mathsmas

With the days counting down towards the end of term, you'll want to keep pupils learning - but without dampening their spirits, of course. The Twelve Sums of Mathsmas helps you do just that, by giving children opportunities to practice their skills with number operations in a festive way.

Free Resource: Six Facts: A Victorian Christmas

Six Facts

There are lots of ways of using this resource to support your pupils in learning about the debt modern day Christmases owe to the Victorians.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for 2020.
