Looking for fun, creative, educational workshops for all of the family to take part in this summer? Then take a look at what we have on offer ...

We've taken some of our most popular schools workshops and adapted them so they can be delivered in libraries, festivals and well - pretty much anywhere! - and we've loved engaging with families at Camp Bestival, Also Festival, Eureka Discovery + Centre and with Shakespeare Birthplace Trust for Shakespeare Week, as well as in Summer Schools across the UK!

Children of all ages can take part and each workshop promises to be active, inspiring and allow for young people's creativity to flow.

“We love working with As Creatives at Eureka! Science + Discovery! As a space for 0 – 14 year olds, we introduce our audiences to STEM subjects through creative and surprising means, and As Creatives certainly deliver on this! We love their approach to STEM, taking a concept and exploring less-told stories through creativity, problem solving, and teamwork. All of the team are excellent performers and facilitators, and are so easy to work with. I would highly recommend As Creatives for any event that is looking to engage children with science, combining fun and games with skills and confidence building.” Rachael Bevan, Head of Learning and Inspiration, Eureka! Science + Discovery

Journeys into Space: exploring the features of some of our neighbours in the solar system – and the story of human space exploration …

What a Wonderful World: looking at some of the animal and plant life forms adapted to particular habitats – and the dangers posed to them by human activity.

Innovation and Beyond: Voyage through the seas of discovery and chart the worlds of transport, communication, medicine and more to bring to life through drama and games “seven innovations that have changed the world”! And ask yourself this: what would be number eight?

Growing for Gold: Combatting Climate Change: investigating what climate change “is”, why it is important, what is causing it – and what steps we can all take to combat it.

The Connection: looking at a number of scientists/technologists/inventors/engineers (none of them dead, white men) who have absolutely changed the world – and who should be much better known than they are!

Time for Science: exploring the pivotal role that concepts of time play in scientific understanding, bringing to life the centrality of time in a whole range of science strands – and showing how “time” doesn’t always behave as we might expect!

“I have enjoyed working with As Creatives, they did excellent work for me for STEPS Engineers Week. They provided a professional service and were very supportive and helpful. They were incredibly thorough and always quick to respond. I am really satisfied with the fantastic educational resources that they developed including engineering trails, quizzes, and videos. The creativity and quality of the resources far exceeded my expectations, they are engaging and easy to use. I can’t say enough positive things about the experience, I recommend As Creatives and look forward to working with them again.” Roseann O’Leary, Engineers Ireland

Many of our school workshops can be adapted for family workshops, including Literacy, Maths and History - so get in touch to see how we could plan the perfect programme of workshops for your event!

"The schools in our Manchester Hub have been delighted with the workshops. You have delivered some amazing sessions (as always!). Thank you so much for all your hard work – we really do love working with As Creatives!” Shakespeare Birthplace Trust

"Just wanted to feed back that The Tempest workshop yesterday was fantastic and a really good energiser for being something totally different in the (home-learning) schedule … Gabriel said it was “just amazing”, he loved it! It has inspired him to ask to look up the original play with me, which is the best endorsement..” Parent, The Hall School
